MOSCOW, Idaho (CBS2) — The suspect arrested in the Idaho killing plans to wave an extradition hearing so that he can be brought back to Idaho to face murder charges, according to his lawyer.
AP is reporting that 28 year old, Bryan Kohberger a PH.D student and teaching assistant at Washington State University was taken into custody Friday morning by Pennsylvania State Police while he was a this parents house.
The Moscow Police Department believes he is the man responsible for the deaths of the four University of Idaho students Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Ethan Chapin and Xana Kernodle. Investigators have obtained DNA samples from Kohberger after his arrest.
Bill Thompson the Latah County prosecutor said during a press conference on Friday he belives Koeburger "broke into the home where the four students lived with the intent to commit murder."
Koeberger is being held without bond and will be held without bond once he arrives to idaho.
