Google's "Grow with Google" workshop is coming to the Boise Public Library on August 5, at 10:30 a.m.

"The tech company’s economic opportunity initiative aims to help job seekers and small businesses learn the digital skills they need to succeed through onsite instructional training led by visiting Google teams, presenters and coaches," said Gretchen Anderson, a media contact for the event.

Google is partnering with America's libraries to put on a national digital skills workshop tour. Google's plan is to bring it to all 50 states.

"Three-quarters of publiclibraries assist patrons with job applications and interviewing skills, and 90% offer basic digital skills training," said Anderson. "After the initial visit, Google will invest in resources to support libraries’ digital skills offerings on an ongoing basis."
